Welcome to the 2025 season
Welcome to the first ever Shuh Orchards blog post! We are thrilled to have you here. In these blog posts, you’ll get access to early promotions, insider information on events, and tips and tricks for all things apples. Our vision is to further connect you to our family’s farm so you can learn more about how we grow your favourite apples.
The Shuh family has been farming in Elmira since 1918. We’re not new to producing great food, but we are new to sharing it for the world to see. That’s why over the next few weeks we’d like to introduce you to the team so you can meet the key members of our 4th generation farm.
This week, we’ll introduce you to the owners, Robert and Lisa Shuh. The couple has been farming together since the day they wed and it’s always remained their mission to steward their blessings through their many philanthropic endeavours. Their passion for agriculture and philanthropy even took their family to Central America for 2 years!
In recent news, Robert was named the President of FARMS (Foreign Agricultural Resource Management Services) where he will look to create positive change and foster stronger relationships between farmers and temporary foreign workers.

This May we will be open to the public for photo shoots during our gorgeous bloom season. Whether you’re looking for an engagement shoot, family pictures, or a date night, we’ve got you covered! The optimal dates for bloom season are May 15-25.
